Patty Contreras is a California Licensed Insurance Broker/Advisor with a unique approach to helping people with integrity and love. She puts the clients’ interest first which gives her the ability to help without expecting anything in return. Her winning attitude and keen approach to business solutions are her greatest assets to helping people in positioning their goals for a win-win approach.
Her core principles and effective business approach are what give her the success she attains: honesty, highest quality service, integrity and caring for her clients.
She specializes in assisting small to medium-size companies, professionals (i.e., physicians, attorneys/CPAs, school administrators/superintendents, business owners and individuals) throughout the United States with their estate planning needs (i.e., life, annuity and long-term care).
Her expertise in the non-profit, private, and education sector over the last 22+ years give her the edge to educate clients in making wiser decisions.
Her extensive experience interfacing with the business community started when she assisted the State Commissioner and Chairman of the California Post-Secondary Education Commission (CPEC), which oversees the planning and coordination of the Community College, State College and UC systems. There she learned to coordinate a heavy calendar of events and to always communicate gracefully with important political leaders. The Commission was tasked with reporting to the President and Congress on an appropriate federal government role with regards to the Internet and other education tools for secondary and postsecondary students.
In May 2006, Patty built a successful insurance business and as a result of her determination and passion, became 1st Year Achiever, Top Rookie of the Year for one of the largest Multi-billion dollar insurance company. She continues to expand broad list of clients in 5 counties and 11 States. She achieved goals that she never imagined possible but it comes back to her basic principle in life, strong work ethic, always doing the right thing for the client and passion for helping people.
Patty graduated from UCLA in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Italian Literature and a minor in French. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French, is a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors), Rotary Club San Bernardino and Soroptimist International of Sequim, WA. She resides in Rancho Cucamonga with her husband Jesse of 25 years and young son, Joshua (12), 91-year old grandma and “JoJo” the dog. She has tremendous love for animals, enjoys walking, bike riding and cooking when her schedule permits.

Jesse Contreras is the Chief Financial Officer/Sales Leader with The Sterling Insurance & Financial Group. His extensive expertise brings knowledge in administration, leadership, sales and extensive corporate knowledge in running a large operation.
Jesse brings extensive experience in leading a large sales force after formerly overseeing over 30+ offices in Southern California Travel and Property & Casualty Insurance industry. He brings a unique approach to leading and motivating people with integrity and practical knowledge to improving their selling techniques.
He resides in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife Patty of almost 25 years, son, Joshua and dog “JoJo.”
Roubina is an accomplished administrative professional with over 20 years experience. She is well-respected, trustworthy, ethical, and discreet. Roubina is committed to providing the highest standard of service and advising her clients on portfolios that best meets their needs.
Prior to joining The Sterling Insurance & Financial Group, Roubina worked in non-profit (Milken Institute), investment banking (Salomon Smith Barney), and the public sector (New York City Department of Transportation). She is a graduate of New York State University – Empire State College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Roubina is a single-parent with a college-age daughter, Brittany; So she knows the importance of making the right financial decisions.
